We believe in a culture of exceptional Health & Safety and want all our employees, sub-contractors and customers to work incident and injury free. We have developed a Business Management System (BMS) that provides a strong Health & Safety platform to achieve this. Updated on a regular basis, we continue to train our employees to minimise risk and develop safe systems of work every day.
Health & Safety Manager and Company Secretary, Michelle Perks currently holds her National General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety and IOSH Directing Safely. She carries out site audits on a regular basis and is responsible for the BMS, which outlines all the company’s risk assessments, method statements, Health and Safety policies and procedures. Together with delivering all in-house training, Human Resources and Health & Safety accreditation, Michelle is working towards her National General Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety.
Our employees are fully NPTC certified and trained in all aspects of forestry and woodland maintenance. All our certification complies with current British Standards and refresher training is carried out regularly to guarantee we are up to date with industry regulations.
We are accredited to Avetta, BALI, CHAS, Constructionline and ROLO and are working towards becoming a professional member of the Arboricultural Association. These accreditations enable us to work with our clients and highlight the standard of excellence we are required to possess to be awarded these accreditations. These standards are reviewed on a yearly basis to enable us to continue our accreditation and industry reputation.
“The culture – leading from the above, they have a rooted H & S culture, meaning they provide detailed RAMS documents prior to commencement and, most importantly, they work in accordance with them”
