At Greenfields we believe in having a strong Health & Safety culture and want all our employees, sub-contractors and customers to work incident and injury free. We have developed a Business Management System (BMS) that provides a strong Health & Safety platform to achieve this. Updated on a regular basis, we continue to train our employees to minimise risk and develop safe systems of work every day.
Our current Health and Safety Manager, Ross Morgan, currently holds his NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety. Along with other members of the health and safety team he carries out site audits on a regular basis and is responsible for the BMS, which outlines all the company’s risk assessments, method statements, Health and Safety policies and procedures. Together with delivering all in-house training and Health & Safety accreditation, Ross will be undertaking his IOSH Managing Safely in the near future.
Our Site Operatives hold a wide variety of NPTC certification and are trained in all aspects of forestry and woodland maintenance. All our certification complies with current British Standards and refresher training is carried out regularly to guarantee we are up to date with industry regulations.
We are accredited with BALI, CHAS, Constructionline Gold, Alcumus, Avetta and are working towards becoming a professional member of the Arboricultural Association. These accreditations enable us to work with our clients and highlight the standard of excellence we are required to possess to be awarded these accreditations. These standards are reviewed on a yearly basis to enable us to continue our accreditation and industry reputation.
